Coffee Break Series - quick guide how to create a point maps with QlikSense
Let’s have a coffee and look steps how to create a point map with QlikSense analytics tool.
PREPARE
1. Ensure your data includes coordinates (longitude, latitude)
START BUILDING
2. Open QlikSense, add and load data
3. Create GeoMakePoint (Latitude,Longitude) syntax line at DataLoad editor where your data load (select) statement is.
4. Load data and go to App Overview and then to a sheet that Map will be presented.
5. Choose Edit to add Map Extension
6. Add dimension and select field to represent Point names
7. Give a name to Map presentation
